About Jairus

Bruce Lee once stated - “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” Derived from an Ancient Oriental saying, the above quote holds such power in such a short sentence. What does the above mean to you? Hi, my name is Jay. I am pleased to introduce myself to you. I have often used this quote to not only inspire, but to serve as a reminder that practice and repetition makes perfect and to never shy away from learning and developing, no matter your age, race, gender, beliefs etc. You will often find me engrossed in a book or researching a new theory I have learned about from others, the internet or through a "stumbling" moment. I believe learning, whatever the subject should be a fun and enjoyable process and as such I strive to make my lesson plans as exciting but knowledgeable to my students. I take a keen interest in also being educated by my students as I am a firm believer in learning together. Knowledge Is Power, and the key to this is always being open as to how you take in this knowledge.

About the lesson

I work with methodical practical implications in real-world scenarios. Who, why, what, where, and when plays a focus which I emphasize in my lessons/sessions. This will include use of Independent critical thinking, Life skills, and the ability to contribute to society in an ethical way and the comprehension of the benefits of using this methodology of teaching. It is especially important for me that all my students understand the lesson concept, teaching is part of learning, and no one gets left behind. As I am teaching I am also learning from my learners, each learner in the classroom brings their own unique background and ability. These are the elements that I invest in my teaching. Moreover, I allow learners to be themselves so as to create an enjoyable environment for learning.

He truly has a passion for wanting to teach and educate. His work ethic is of understanding his students as individuals and drawing up his lesson plans to fit and accommodate each of his students based on their own levels of study. He takes his time, is always patient and is always happy to repeat and go over tasks/assignments/topics etc.

He has a teaching methodology of learning from each other and has such fun and interesting ways of learning that keeps you engaged in the lesson.
