- What kind of experience do you have?

I have worked in 3 different schools in Coventry, Warwickshire and am currently teaching at a secondary school in Northamptonshire. I have taught the full range of qualifications including GCSE's and A-Levels.

- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

I have a full CRB certificate as I am a current teacher.

- Tell me about some of your current students.

My current students are BTEC First and BTEC National students, who are all on course for excellent results this summer.

About the lesson

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach Business Studies, Economics and Politics at GCSE and A-level (as well as Applied GCSE/A-Level and BTEC).

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I qualified as a Business and Economics teacher in 2007 having done my PGCE at the University of Warwick. I had previously completed my degree in Economics and Politics and Loughborough University, graduating in 2006.

- How much do you charge?

I charge a flat rate of £20 per hour session. Please contact me as discounts will be made for a block booking of 6 lessons or more.

- Where do you teach?

I am willing to travel to students' homes and feel it is better to tutor at the student's home as they feel more comfortable and better able learn. I will travel to Coventry, Leicester and Northampton, and am based in Rugby, Warwickshire.

- When are you available?

I am available from 6pm until 8pm weekdays, and 12pm until 4pm at weekends. During the summer holidays I am available far more often - please contact for details.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach GCSE and BTEC First (Year 10/11) as well as A-Level and BTEC National (6th form - Years 12/13).

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

Unfortunately at this time, I do not do online tutoring. If demand increases, I may offer this in the future.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

I am a friendly, approachable teacher who is enthusiastic about the subjects I teach! I try to make learning as fun and engaging as possible, and am more than happy to help!
