Japanese is a beautiful and fascinating language, rich with depth, creativity, and cultural heritage. Whether your interest stems from traditional arts or modern pop culture, you're embarking on an exciting—and sometimes challenging—journey. That’s where I come in! My approach is supportive, practical, and designed to make learning enjoyable and easy. I use English and Japanese to explain the tricky concepts with a strong emphasis on the way native speakers naturally communicate. My goal is to break down complex words and phrases into something more approachable, helping you build confidence and fluency—one step at a time!

I will utilize more native speaker methods through conversing and listening whilst highlighting Japanese phonetics. A typical lesson plan will start off with a greeting and catching up in as much Japanese as possible with words that are unknown, taught in English and then repeated in Japanese. I will initially teach with the alphabet, and use real-life modern language and recognizable words and videos to demonstrate their usages.
These lessons can be for learners wanting to learn to speak Japanese better, enhance their Japanese with already a basic foundation, and special accommodations can be made for those who want to learn from the basics. Lesson plans will be built off this structure, but can be adjusted.
