Japanese tutor for high school students in Sydney (Beginners, Continuers and Extension)

Oscar helped me to catch up with my Japanese because i was behind in school. In a few weeks I was even further than a lot of my friends in class. I think he is very thoughtful about what is the best way for me to learn. Oscar is very funny and treats me like a friend. He helps me even through texts and answers questions that I ask anytime during the week. From his tutoring, I think I am not just better in Japanese but most of all I am more confident to speak and write.

Oscar was my tutor for Japanese Extension in 2019. He is very easy to talk to and friendly. I found that I could comfortably ask him questions and get him to explain things further in detail. He was very good at explaining grammatical structures and the nuances that they have. His knowledge and experience really showed as helped a lot in improving the authenticity of my writing and speaking by pointing out more natural ways to say a thing as well as more natural vocabulary. The way he structures his lessons is very school-like where we would go through new grammar and then he would help us with writing and speaking following a prompt. His tutoring provided us with stability and guidance. Overall I would highly recommend Oscar for anyone learning Japanese.

Oscar tutored me for my Japanese Continuers and Extension studies and helped me achieve great results in the HSC. Oscar was a great teacher because he was willing to explain ideas whether simple or complexed with the the same level of attention. He helped me understand rudimentary concepts that I couldn’t grasp free of judgment and explained concepts in a clear and precise manner. Oscar not only aided me in regards to learning the subject but also provided me with confidence in my abilities to achieve. I really enjoyed being tutored by Oscar, I think his is trustworthy and reliable and is a great tutor.
