About Kelsey
My guitar teaching approach blends modern technology with musical fundamentals to support confident, curious learners. I use chord visualizers to make shapes, progressions, and theory easy to understand at a glance. Loop pedals are a core tool in lessons, helping students develop solid tempo control, timing, and layered rhythm skills.
Interactive apps support practice with structure, feedback, and consistency without feeling rigid. We explore harmonics, tone shaping, and phrasing in ways that are both visual and audible. Recording software turns practice into progress you can actually hear.
I guide students through songwriting on DAWs, from sketching ideas to arranging full tracks. Multi-track practice builds independence, focus, and creative momentum. Lessons are ideal for learners who enjoy tech and benefit from clear systems.
I also create space for expression, experimentation, and personal sound. Visual–auditory balance is built into every session. Whether you’re developing skills later than expected or shaping studio-ready ideas, I meet you where you are.

I am a guitar tutor with 9 years of teaching experience, committed to making music education inclusive and empowering. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education with a dedicated focus on Guitar. Teaching visually impaired and differently-abled students has been a meaningful and defining part of my journey.
I design lessons that use tactile notation to support clear physical understanding of the instrument. Audio cue training plays a key role in helping students build confidence and independence. Strong rhythmic development is central to my approach, ensuring students feel music deeply, not just intellectually.
Each lesson is carefully adapted to individual needs, abilities, and learning styles. I value patience, clarity, and consistency. Students are encouraged to progress at their own pace without pressure or comparison.
My teaching blends structure with creativity to keep learning engaging and accessible. I believe barriers in music education can be removed with the right tools and mindset. Accessibility is not an add-on in my work; it is the foundation.
