About Edison
I’m a professional jazz guitarist with many years of real-world experience performing, recording, and touring.
My approach comes from the bandstand rather than textbooks. I focus on helping players understand how jazz harmony and improvisation actually work in real musical situations, so they can play with confidence instead of guessing.
I work mainly with adult guitarists at intermediate and advanced level who want clarity, structure, and practical results from their practice time.
Lessons are supportive but focused, and always tailored to the individual.

My lessons are designed for guitarists who can already play but feel unsure when it comes to jazz harmony, soloing, or practising effectively.
We focus on applying ideas directly to real tunes, not abstract exercises. The aim is to help you sound confident, musical, and clear on jazz standards.
Lessons are practical and structured, but relaxed. We work on harmony, melodic soloing, time feel, and building a realistic practice routine that fits around real life.
Each session ends with clear next steps, so you always know what to practise and why.
Lessons are taught online via Zoom and are suitable for intermediate and advanced players.
