About Jemetris
I am a musician that started on piano and switched to trumpet a couple years later. I’ve been playing trumpet for about 8 years and have been engaged in music for 10. I now play jazz piano most of the time. Harmony is one of my favorite things ever. I’ve been studying advanced music theory for 7 years now! I also compose and have several published works.

I myself have to learn hands on, but also I need to soak up information before I can use it. But my teaching is based off of the students goals. Lessons will consist of a certain task that should be reached in a certain amount of time. But don’t worry! If you get behind, that’s alright. We will move at a pace that is healthy and attainable for the student.
