About Youssef
I am a motivated and disciplined student at John Abbott College with a strong background in math and science. I have always been someone who enjoys helping others understand difficult concepts, and I take pride in explaining things in a clear and simple way.
I am patient, reliable, and focused on results. I understand the challenges students face because I recently went through the same courses myself, which allows me to connect with students and explain material in a way that actually makes sense. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and independence.

I am a science student at John Abbott College offering math and physics tutoring for high school and CEGEP students. My goal is to make concepts simple and easy to understand by breaking them down step by step instead of just memorizing formulas.
A typical lesson starts with reviewing theory, then working through examples together, and finally practicing problems until the student is confident. I adapt my teaching style to each student, whether they need help catching up, preparing for exams, or improving their grades.
What sets me apart is that I recently learned these concepts myself, so I understand where students struggle and how to explain things clearly. I focus on building real understanding and confidence, not just getting the answer.

My rates are flexible depending on the level and location. I mainly offer in-person lessons because I believe learning is much more effective when we can interact directly, ask questions freely, and work through problems together in a natural way. I am a very sociable and approachable person, which helps create a comfortable environment where students don’t feel stressed or judged. This makes it easier to stay focused, ask questions, and actually understand the material instead of just memorizing it. Online sessions are also available if needed, but I strongly recommend in-person lessons for better results, especially in math and physics. Discounts can be offered for multiple sessions per week.
