About John
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been Head of Science at a secondary school in South East London for just under 2 years. In that time we have seen Significant improvements in our exam results.
My role in school allows access to all the latest exam materials.
I have taught science at key stage 3, GCSE and AS/A level to students of various abilities and the majority students I have taught have reached or exceeded their target grades. I feel very strongly about helping my students reach their full potential and I recently won an award for most motivational male teacher (as voted for by the students) at my current school.
I feel it is very important that students see the relevance of what they are learning and develop skills that they will use later in life. I have experience teaching GCSE science using the following examining boards: AQA, OCR and EDEXCEL.and AS biology with AQA
