My teaching method is centered around fostering creativity and building a strong foundation in art principles. I use a combination of structured lessons and open-ended projects to encourage students to explore their artistic abilities. Techniques include:
Step-by-Step Guidance: I break down complex techniques into manageable steps, ensuring students understand each part before moving on.
Hands-On Practice: Students spend most of their time creating art, as practice is crucial for skill development.
Positive Reinforcement: I provide constructive feedback and celebrate each student's progress, building their confidence.
Incorporating Art History: Lessons often include references to famous artists and movements to inspire students and provide context for their work.
Exploration of Mediums: Students are encouraged to experiment with different mediums such as pencil, watercolor, acrylic, and digital art to find their preferred tools.
