• When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  I’ve always been drawn to maths even as a kid, I loved how logical it felt and how every problem had a story behind it. As I grew older, I realized that maths isn’t just about numbers, it’s about building reasoning skills, confidence, and the ability to solve real-world problems. That understanding made me want to share it with others, especially students who might not see how useful and empowering maths can be.

• What makes you passionate about your subject?

  What keeps me passionate about maths is how it challenges you to think differently. It teaches patience, creativity, and problem-solving skills that go far beyond the classroom. I love seeing that moment when a student who once said, I’m just not good at maths, suddenly understands a concept and starts to believe in themselves. That shift in confidence is what drives me every day.

• What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  Tutoring gives me the chance to meet students where they are and help them move forward at their own pace. I take time to understand how each student learns best whether they need visuals, real-life examples, or step-by-step guidance. What makes me a teacher is my patience and my ability to make learning feel less intimidating. I aim to make every session engaging and supportive so students not only understand the material but also start to enjoy learning it.

• Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  Yes I had a teacher who always said that effort is more important than natural talent. She never made anyone feel behind; instead, she focused on helping us build confidence through small wins. Her approach inspired how I teach today. I try to bring that same encouragement and belief into my lessons so every student feels capable and supported.

• What are your keys to success?

  For me, success comes down to patience, consistency, and mindset. Learning anything, especially maths takes time and persistence. I encourage my students to focus on progress, not perfection, and to celebrate every improvement, no matter how small. With the right attitude and support, anyone can succeed in maths.
