About Jose
My name is Jose Santos, and I've been playing guitar for over 10 years — with a deep focus on Latin, flamenco, and acoustic traditions. I've performed as a solo artist, accompanied other musicians, and taught guitar in private and group settings for the last 6 years. I also work with singer-songwriters who want to develop their guitar skills and incorporate Latin rhythms into their music. My students trust me because I'm warm, supportive, and I always tailor lessons to their personal goals and musical tastes. I've helped beginners master their first strumming patterns, intermediate players develop fingerstyle technique, and singer-songwriters add authentic rhythm and expression to their playing. Hi, I'm Jose Santos. I've taught guitar for 6 years, and my focus is on helping players develop a warm, expressive sound with a special emphasis on Latin, flamenco, and acoustic styles. I work with beginners discovering the instrument, intermediate players wanting to expand their technique, and singer-songwriters looking to add rhythmic depth to their playing. My lessons cover hand position, chord progressions, strumming patterns, and fingerpicking. For Latin and flamenco styles, I teach rhythmic patterns (compás), rasgueado, fingerstyle techniques, and melodic phrasing that captures the soul of the music. I also teach you to play with authentic feel and expression, whether you're accompanying your voice or playing instrumental pieces. My approach is warm, patient, and tailored to your musical interests — we'll work through songs and techniques that genuinely inspire you.
