About Joseph
My name is Joseph Weid, and I've been around water my entire life. I hold lifeguard and water safety certifications, and I've taught swimming to children, adults, and seniors for the last 5 years. I'm known for my calm, patient style and my ability to help nervous swimmers feel at ease. My students trust me because I take the time to understand their fears and goals, and I celebrate every small achievement. I've helped children overcome their fear of water, adults learn to swim for the first time, and swimmers improve their technique and endurance. With me, you'll learn to swim with confidence and enjoy being in the water.

Hi, I'm Joseph Weid. I've taught swimming for 5 years, and my focus is on helping swimmers of all ages build confidence and skill in the water. Whether you're a young beginner, an adult who's always avoided the deep end, or someone looking to refine their stroke, I'll help you improve. My lessons are calm and supportive. We start with breath control, floating, and getting comfortable in the water. Then we build on that foundation with kicking drills, arm strokes, and full coordination for freestyle and backstroke. I also teach basic water safety and treading water. My approach is patient and encouraging — I won't push you into anything you're not ready for, but I'll gently guide you to the next step when you are. You'll feel your confidence grow with every session.
