About Bay
Being in this business for 20+ years, I have learned a lot. I like to pay attention to other Journeyman Electricians so that I can continually notice things, learn different tricks and become a better electrician.
I currently work as a Project Manager, so I am in the field guiding others so that we can finish a job successfully, on time and with the finest craftsmanship. Its looking out for ways to something better, use new tools or products to make the craftsmanship look better and then reinforcing to our guys to strive for quality.
At times, I also teach Electrical Safety classes. This includes wearing the proper PPE, utilizing Lock-Out/Tag-Out methods and encouraging not doing work hot. This involves doing a hands-on portion of the class with understanding how to properly install a lock-out/tag-out on a disconnect switch.
I like to push for excellence, though if you give me the best that you can do, I will take that. As long as we’re not lazy about it, then success will come through.

If you want to succeed, then I want to help you succeed. I have patience that if you do not understand something, I will take time to explain it a separate way so that you can understand. I like to use examples to teach so that the thought can be clarified.
I like to use basics to teach the more difficult topics. I like to make sure that we have a footing of a subject so that we can build a foundation on it and make sure that it remains firmly rooted. Doing this not only helps with taking a test, but also making application of it when in the working world as an electrician.
I do need at least a day in advance to look over the coursework you need assistance on. This way I can make sure I understand it so that I can explain it back to you.
If you want to succeed as a Journeyman Electrician, then I am the guy who will help you every step of the way.
