About Juan
My name is Juan Merritt-Trigueros, I am 18 years old and from Herreruela de Oropesa, a small village in Spain of 300 people. I have spoken Spanish my whole life with my family and peers. Every summer I visit my Spanish family for several weeks. I have experienced a side and culture that many people don't experience this allows me to introduce a very festive culture much different to theirs. Throughout my youth I translated for my American and Spanish families, also translating for Immigrant Spanish speakers in my school.

I started studying Spanish at a young age, I have took AP Spanish in my junior and senior year and passed my AP Spanish exam twice and will be receiving a minor in Spanish. I help my brothers and many of my friends improve their Spanish and teach them Spanish memes and sayings. Teaching Spanish to non speakers is an enjoyable process that has many advantages. I know how to make people interested in what they are learning and the advantages of learning another language.
