About Melody
Standing in my Seattle home studio, I remember how 13 years ago I first began translating my Juilliard training into practical pedagogy for my initial students. My daily work as a violinist with the New York Philharmonic informs every technical detail I cover, from left hand agility to complex shifting positions and precise bowing technique. I guide pupils through scales, arpeggios, double stops, and classical repertoire while integrating essential music theory and ear training.

Precision defines these 10 segments of instruction where the sound of a perfectly tuned violin creates a sense of accomplishment for the learner. I utilize the RCM syllabus for Grades 1 through 10 plus ARCT to ensure every student builds a rigorous foundation that stands the test of time.
Instruction covers everything from tone production to orchestral playing, ensuring that each technique is executed with intentionality and grace.
