About Victor
Hi! I’m Victor Hsu, a violinist and 2025 YoungArts National Award Winner, currently studying at the Juilliard under the renowned Professor Masao Kawasaki. I began my violin journey at the age of six and have since been fortunate to earn top prizes in competitions including the International Grande Music Competition, International Young Artists Competition, Rondo Vanguard International Music Competition, VIVO International Music Competition, Crescendo International Youth Music Competition, and the CYO Concerto Competition. Most recently, I was honored with a top prize at the Ensemble 212 Concerto Competition. I’ve performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Weill Hall, Lincoln Center, and Merkin Concert Hall, and have worked with world-class instructors including Dr. I-Hao Lee at the Meadowmount School of Music and Professor Bela Horvath at the Heifetz Institute, where I received early acceptance and a merit scholarship. Beyond solo performance, I’m an avid chamber musician, currently performing with the Levain Trio through the NYYS Youth Chamber Program and the Ember Quartet, with invitations to perform at a wide range of venues and events.
