About Julio A
I am a Spanish instructor at Louisiana State University (LSU). My academic journey was enriched by a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in Spanish from the University of Texas at El Paso, and it culminated in a PhD in Creative Writing in Spanish from the University of Houston.
I have a passion for reading and writing, particularly poetry, short stories, and novellas. I have published two books of poetry in Spanish and bilingual (Spanish and English) and two books for children.

Studying can be an exhilarating experience, not a burden. The classroom should be a space for growth and discovery, not suffering.
I understand the challenges you face because I've walked in your shoes.
English has been, and continues to be, a journey of constant learning for me as well. This shared experience allows me to empathize relate to you all and with your struggles.
Let's embark on this educational journey together. Your commitment combined with my guidance can create a powerful synergy. Remember: You do your part. I do mine. Together, we grow.
By fostering a supportive and understanding environment, we can transform the learning process into an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
P.S.: I prefer to offer my tutoring in public places, such as a library or a coffee shop.
