I am a student and even though I have never technically been a tutor, I do help a lot of students in all grades at my school with their studies. I am in calculus and have experience with all levels of mathematics below that.

I am very patient when I help anyone, it takes time to really learn and understand any new material. My overall approach as far as my teaching style is to first discuss what types of problems we are going to unfold. Then it really depends on who I’m teaching, if they are a visual learner we will do it visually but if they are someone who understands best when reading a problem, we’ll do it that way. It’s best to learn in a way that they feel comfortable with.
