About Rory
I am a current junior doctor in London studying (alongside my work) to train in the US. I graduated in the top decile of my cohort from Barts and the London School of Medicine with distinction or merit each year of study. This allowed me to secure a junior doctor training post in one of the most sought after university hospitals in London. I scored a 265 (top 1%) in the USMLE step 1 and am currently studying for the step 2 examination. Prior to my medical degree I obtained a First Class Master's degree in Chemistry (Hons) from The Univeristy of St Andrews. I obtained A* grade in A-level biology, chemistry and physics, and 8A* and 2A in my GCSEs, securing the single highest score in GCSE biology and physics in Northern Ireland. During my time in higher education I have published several PubMed indexed articles, including a research piece in Nature Communications. I can offer advice on how to obtain publications for FPAS applications.
I am available to tutor for the USMLE Step 1 examination, any aspect of UK medical school, Biology and Chemistry to A-level and I can offer advice on obtaining publications for FPAS application.

I am happy to adjust my teaching methodology to each individual's needs (a skill acquired during my time teaching medical students on wards). Ideally you would select a subject you are having difficulties with, discuss what aspects of the subject you find difficult and I would discuss the subject with you, explaining it thoroughly and offer tips and tricks on how to best learn this information and answers relevant questions on examinations.
