About Grace
I am a naturally shy student, too nervous to ask my teacher questions. I want to create a safe space for students like me to feel comfortable to be wrong and ask questions because that's what it means to learn.

My teaching method is to start from the basics and move through making math and physics seem less intimidating. My loose teaching plan is to first start with a warm-up about the struggling subject, and then to introduce the concept we are tackling that day. Then I will have time for guided practice on the material followed by independent practice. Lastly, we will finish off by reviewing the key takeaways and our goals by the next lesson. I think I am set apart from other tutors because I am in touch with the student perspective, I know what it's like to have scary intimidating teachers who you feel you can't ask questions. I want to create a safe space for mistakes. I would say my lessons are mostly for middle school and younger high school students who are in need of tutoring.
