About Ruthi
Hi! My name is Ruth, and I’m a junior at Texas A&M University. I enjoy working with other students and helping make math feel less overwhelming. Having taken college-level math courses myself, I understand how helpful it can be to have someone explain a difficult concept in a simpler, more relatable way.
I primarily tutor high school math as well as Texas A&M MATH 140 and MATH 142. I’m patient, encouraging, and happy to work through problems multiple times or explain them in different ways until they make sense. Whether you need help with homework, studying for an exam, or just understanding the material better, my goal is to help you feel more confident and prepared in math.

I tutor high school and college-level math, with a particular focus on Texas A&M MATH 140 and MATH 142. My goal is to help students understand the process behind each problem instead of simply memorizing formulas or steps.
During tutoring sessions, I break problems down step-by-step and work through examples with the student before having them try similar problems on their own. I can help with homework, exam preparation, reviewing difficult concepts, and building confidence before quizzes and tests.
For Texas A&M students, I understand that MATH 140 and MATH 142 can move quickly and involve many different concepts. I focus on explaining the material in a straightforward way and helping students recognize the types of problems they are likely to encounter.
My tutoring is best suited for high school students and college students taking introductory math courses, especially Texas A&M MATH 140 and MATH 142. I am patient, encouraging, and willing to explain a problem multiple ways until the student finds an approach that makes sense to them.
