About Lauren
I have had a passion for learning since I was a kid and my academic history reflects this. I had the second highest GPA in my graduating class of 352 students, I scored a 30 on my ACT, and graduated with a 3.95 GPA from Roane State with my associates in forestry. I have worked 30 hour work weeks and help leadership roles in my extracurricular groups since I was 16, so I understand the need to balance school and life.

I believe the key to learning is getting rid of the complex jargon and memorization and instead explaining the concepts and reasoning behind them. This is philosophy is my approach to furthering students' understanding of mathematics,writing, and natural sciences such as chemistry, biology, and soil science.
