I've just completed my second year of studies in Medicine (MBBS, BSc) at the prestigious University College, London and will be completing the first half of this programme with an iBSc in Oncology later next year.
My particular interests lie in the subject of Biology, for which I'd be able to provide tutoring at both GCSE and A-Level/International Baccalaureate levels. I provide a friendly style of teaching, and commit to extensive planning before lessons to suit the particular needs of a student. Teaching is directed at achieving the best possible grade, whatever your current abilities. I'll teach you how to master the syllabus in order to ensure those top grades. For those looking to pursue a career in medicine - or similar such degrees - I would also be willing to provide detailed guidance on university entrance, personal statements and interview preparation.
I achieved 9 A-stars at iGCSE, and 42 points overall in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme; equivalent to over 4A*s at A-level. (Including the maximum IB score of 7 in Biology, Economics, Mathematics and German).
During my second year at medical school, I was President at one of its largest student societies - the UCL Indian Society. For this, I was awarded ‘Best President’ by the National Indian Students and Alumni Association, and was lead organiser on ‘Jashn 2018’, the biggest inter-university celebration of India’s Republic Day outside of India (Guests of honour for this event included Rt. Hon Baroness Patricia Scotland [6th Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations] and Mr. Rajesh Agrawal [Deputy Mayor of London for Business]). My achievements during secondary school included Gold Awards in the UK Biology Challenge and Intermediate Maths Challenge, Chess Team Captain, School Prefect, and Subject Mentor. I'm also qualified in First Aid, Scuba Diving (PADI Open Water) and Power Boating, and am also a jazz & classical saxophonist.
