About Amanda
I am a conservatory-trained flutist who has played full-time in orchestras all around the world. I was trained at the Royal Academy of Music and went on to join an orchestra in London. In 2011, I had an opportunity to join an orchestra in China as principal flute and lived there for 8 years. Last year, I was appointed Acting Second Flute of The Phoenix Symphony, and throughout my performing career, I have never stopped teaching all ages the wonderful magic of the flute!

I love to inspire my students to enjoy learning the flute. There is infinite space to grow and not one student is the same as another. I like to structure various learning paths depending on the students personality and what they enjoy about the flute. After all the learning process should be fun, too!
