I take Vocal lessons for both beginners and Intermediate levels of Carnatic Music as well as Light Music. Age and Gender no bar. These classes happen on a one to one basis both online and offline depending on the students and the instructors convenience. Here are some of the techniques that I use during the class.
1. Usage of Apps such as the Metronome to inculcate the sense of Rhythm into the student
2. Teaching the student to use an E-Tanpura to decide the pitch and help the student sensitise the concept of singing on pitch.
3. Providing theoretical contexts for the concepts taught in a simple and an easy to understand way.
4. Teaching simple vocal techniques to enhance one's voice and much more.
5. Usage of a simple DAW(Digital Audio Workstation) for recording your own voice and also teaching on how to edit the same to make reference tracks. This facilitates in enhancing one's listening skills much more effectively.
