About Natasha

I'm starting my third year of University at The Florence Institute of Design International this Fall where I'm studying interior design and architecture. Although located in Florence (Italy), my school only offers courses in English as our institute is sponsored by The University of Chester in England.

I've always found it fun to speak English and find it to be one of the most important to master in terms of social and professional circumstances. I started learning English at the age of three and have since improved my knowledge to a stage where speaking English is completely natural to me.

My partner of three years is English and speaks no other languages other than his mother tongue , which forces me to continuously keep up with my English skills everyday. I also know Thai, Swedish, a little bit of Spanish and Italian!

About the lesson

I find it easiest to teach a new language when you genuinely enjoy the conversation. I prefer to have everyday conversations with people learning English to practice the right grammar and pronunciations. Depending on your certain level of knowledge, I think it's important to enjoy the process of learning a language and making it into a daily habit, rather than feeling like you're forced to learn. Positive connotations make it easier to remember!

Very sweet and ambitious students with lovely personalities and a lot of potential in terms of academics! They engaged in the conversations and took the initiative to bring them to a different subject and sub-subjects.

Improvements: Practice pronunciations, improve verbal flow in terms of conversation, eliminate the use of the words "like" or "um" during the sentences, use more complicated words as synonyms.

Natasha is great for teaching English, I am a native English speaker and her English is better than my own. She helps with my grammar and wording of sentences.
In the past we have also shared an experience, where she had to translate Swedish to English and vice versa. This was between an English speaker and a Swedish speaker who could communicate to each other, Natasha played the role of translator in a live conversation. This shows that she has a good level of competency with translation.
