About Angela
Hello! I live near Denver but I have a Chicago accent. In Chicago, we often say, "You guys". My university is the:
University of Wisconsin - Parkside, Kenosha, Wisconsin.
English & Secondary Education (Grades 6 - 12)
I was trained to tutor by Kaplan University.
I very much enjoy tutoring students. My own children are parents themselves so I love to spend time with young people. This is fun for me and every session will be fun and interesting for you, too.

Our style involves using positive feedback, creating a fun atmosphere, and encouraging our students to enjoy participating in our conversations.
I DO, WE DO, YOU DO.
Tutor models each concept, guiding students in a relaxed and positive process. When ready, students transition to independent work.
1. Tutor asks open-ended, thought-provoking questions.
2. Student teaches the same concept back to the tutor.
3. Together, student and tutor relate the material to student's existing knowledge.
4. We use 25-minute sessions with 5-minute mental breaks.
