About Maria
I am a Pharmacology BSc student at King's College London with excellent A Level grades. I have a deep interest in maths and science, especially biology, as well as foreign languages. I hope that my personal experiences and knowledge can be of help to you.

I believe the key to improvement in any subject is genuine enjoyment and understanding of its content. I will tailor my approach to every student, targeting their areas of weakness. Ideally, the student should have an idea of the topics they need help with before each lesson, and these would be prioritised; other areas of focus would be determined by quizzes and exam questions. We will also spend time on consolidation, for example by reviewing past topics (spaced repetition and active recall), and exam technique.
Having achieved top grades in my A Levels and GCSEs, I will provide useful guidance and revision techniques, and will help you personalise your own! I genuinely understand just how stressful exams can be, especially when you feel like you are falling behind (I've been there myself). However, with the right mindset and maybe some help, you too can do your best!
