About Anastasia

My name is Ana. I have worked with students from many cultural backgrounds, having lived in Ukraine, China and currently UK. I hold a BA in International Economics from Simon Kuznets National University of Economics in Ukraine and an MBA in Enterprise Management from Changchun University of Science and Technology in China (长春理工大学).

I’ve studied Mandarin Chinese since 2008 and moved to China in 2011, where I gained an MBA degree upon completion of a 4-year government-run programme in Chinese. Having lived and worked in China for over 8 years, I got familiar with the IGCSE, A-levels and IB systems, which helped me to offer students specialised support in subjects including Economics, Mandarin Chinese and Russian languages.

About the lesson

I always seek to put the wishes of the students first, which makes their learning progress and comfort my top priority. I am a good listener and am flexible with teaching styles, I like to help my tutees to systemise their knowledge, to develop skills to memorise new knowledge, to improve their ability to learn fast and with a clear structure.
