About Athira
A young, results-driven and commercially focused BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Statistics graduate, achieving a 1st class degree. Diligent, and thoroughly dedicated in all pursuits: seeking a job in which to further develop and apply a highly transferable skill-set that I have gathered from my degree and experience.
I have volunteered at Cheam Park Farm Primary School for 6 months as an English reading mentor. Achieved excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the younger age group (year 1 and year 6) in an optimistic environment.Motivated children to help improve their reading and speaking abilities with a vast amount of energy, enthusiasm, self-discipline.
Moreover, I did private tutoring for a 11 plus student in which I aided the child with English. Demonstrated strong organisational skills, structuring each lesson and having everything all ready on time. Communicating enabled me to comprehend the child’s level of learning and give appropriate feedback to the parents, highlighting the strength and areas which need more improvement on.
