About Makenzy

Hi, I’m Kenzy, and I know firsthand how powerful the right support can be. As a student, I once struggled to keep up in school—until a caring tutor stepped in and helped me build the skills and confidence I needed to succeed. That experience inspired me to become a tutor myself, and now I’m proud to pay it forward by helping other students overcome their own challenges. I’m passionate about creating a positive, judgment-free learning space where every student can thrive at their own pace. I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can become a confident and capable learner.

About the lesson

Whether your child needs help catching up, staying on track, or getting ahead, I offer customized, one-on-one support that builds skills, confidence, and a love for learning. My teaching approach is student-centered, meeting learners where they are and tailoring each session to their unique learning style, pace, and goals. I use interactive, practical methods—real-world examples, visuals, and hands-on activities—to make learning engaging and meaningful. I focus on building confidence in a supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions and take risks. I adapt lessons to support students of all abilities, including those with ADHD and learning differences. With multi-subject expertise in Math, English, and History, I help students make connections across subjects, build stronger study habits, and gain lasting academic confidence.
