About Blake

As a Piano tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, I have helped many students become confident musicians through patient and personalized instruction. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals with lessons designed to match their learning styles and goals.

My teaching approach combines structured learning, creativity, and continuous encouragement. I believe every student can succeed when lessons are enjoyable, practical, and focused on individual progress.

My classes cover piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, performance preparation, and finger exercises. I guide students in building confidence through effective practice and regular feedback.

In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard skills and music reading. These additional subjects strengthen musical knowledge and help students perform with confidence.

I am committed to helping every student enjoy the learning process while achieving meaningful results. My greatest satisfaction comes from watching students grow into skilled and expressive musicians.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is centered on communication, creativity, flexibility, and positive motivation. I believe students learn best in an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, trying new ideas, and learning from mistakes. Every lesson is designed to encourage both technical and personal growth.

Students first build a strong foundation through posture, hand position, rhythm exercises, finger coordination, note reading, and music theory. They gradually progress to scales, chords, arpeggios, pedal techniques, expressive performance, dynamics, sight reading, and musical interpretation.

I use demonstrations, practical activities, listening exercises, and regular revision to explain every topic clearly. Students receive individual guidance and constructive feedback that helps them improve with confidence.

Students explore different musical styles while strengthening creativity through accompaniment, improvisation, and expressive playing. These activities encourage artistic expression and independent musical thinking.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard, ear training, rhythm development, music theory, sight reading, performance preparation, music appreciation, and beginner composition. These supporting lessons provide balanced musical education.

My goal is to help students become confident musicians who enjoy learning, performing, and sharing the joy of music.
