About Julia
Hello,
I'm 24 years old and I have been living in NY for the last 3 years.
It has been a great opportunity to improve my English in the writing and reading section.
I had 4 students in Rio de Janeiro, the city where I'm from, and they all did very well on the TOEFL exame. I also have three American students that are now learning Portuguese and they are now, after ~ 3 months, are able to communicate.
I'm here to do my best on trying to make learning an excellent experience for you. Hope to hear from you soon. :))

My teaching methodology consists of repeating and persevering.
By repeating the student get to expand the "hard drive" of their minds creating a new space for that new language. Saying a sentence many times is the best way to memorize. The sentence should be shifted to positive, negative, past and future making easier for the student to understand the language structure.
Vocabulary is the way to go! Every class a new area will be explored. Going from basic to advance, the student will be able to talk and understand all areas.
Class with me is a relaxing moment where the student must feel free to make as many questions as needed. Fun is also part of the process.
