About Lydie
I’m a language nerd, very very into all of them. I can’t go a day without thinking about at least one foreign alphabet. I speak Hebrew, learn Arabic, try to tackle the Devanagari script… and I’m forever obsessed with French. I started at primary, then secondary, did my au pair, the DALF C1 certificate, lived in Paris for a year and keep coming back ever since. Paris is my first beloved city in the world (I’m very uncritical about Emily in Paris and love the Parisian metro), but I also lived in Brussels for half a year, so if you’re up for it, I will take you to travel with me :).

You might have a very short attention span, or maybe languages are your hyperfocus area. Maybe you really want to understand all Stromae songs, but not so much discuss current events. I believe in riding the wave of passion with language learning, and start off with what you love. I like all the quirky ones, the different. Being chill is my mantra, so whether you see yourself as a sailor on the Breton coast or walking your dog along the Seine with a baguette under one arm, I’m happy to help you get there soon :).
