About Elizabeth
I love working with secondary students of French! I have taught beginning French classes in both Montgomery and Anne Arundel counties in Maryland. I have also been a French tutor to students in French 1, 2 and 3.
As a non-native learner of French myself, I UNDERSTAND the difficulties of learning this language because I once had the same questions you have!
I began taking French in the seventh grade and have been a life-long learner ever since. I promise I can help and that we can also have fun doing so.

For students taking secondary French classes, my first goal is to LISTEN to you and speak with you in English to determine what gives you trouble in French. It's not an easy language!
French is often taught in FRENCH by the teachers in public schools, making it difficult for beginning students to understand the complexities of what is being asked of them in class.
My job is to first clear up whatever questions you have. We will then devise targeted help which may include flashcards; review materials; school homework and project help; conversation strategies and more.
I am kind, compassionate, passionate and very skilled in connecting with young people. I promise!
