About Tia
I’m currently a second-year university student studying to become a commercial airline pilot. I have always enjoyed teaching and helping children, as I grew up in a childcare environment helping my mum with her childcare business. So tutoring is perfect for me and I make sure the students enjoy their lessons as well as learning what they need to know to ensure that they succeed to their full potential as I know a classroom environment is not always the best learning option for some children.

The lessons I teach are available for all ages as I have taught ages from 5-16 years old. Approximate length of each lesson will be an hour and I will focus on specific topics the student may struggle with and ensure they understand the basis of concepts first before moving on to higher level topics. Once an understanding of the topic is developed I go over practice questions with them and then make the student work through practice questions independently to consolidate that understanding. If any additional help is needed I’ll always be happy to give tips and tricks to help.
