I found Alex to be a fantastic tutor - he helped me prepare for the ELAT so I could apply to Oxford, and made me much more certain in the process that that was the right place for me to be. As well as helping me with the examination itself, he gave advice on what the interviews would look like, and details about the course there. Throughout our time together, alongside improving my ability to critically engage with a text, he was friendly, and made the sessions enjoyable as well as useful.
