About Kinga

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have played the harp since the age of six and have a lot of experience in both performing, solo as well as part of small and large ensembles, and teaching.
I have studied with teachers from all over the world and played concerts throughout Europe.
Whether you are interested in learning to play the harp a professional level or just for fun I can help you achieve your goals. Lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs of each pupil in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
Theory is normally thought during instrumental lessons but if anyone would like help with just theory I can also teach it separately.

About the lesson

I am a professional harpist based in Birmingham. I have over 3 years of teaching experience where I have successfully guided my students to passing their ABRSM grade exams. Each lesson is tailored to suit the student and make the learning enjoyable.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

Pedal Harp
Lever Harp
Beginner Piano (up to grade 4)
Theory (up to grade 5)
Beginner Trombone (up to grade 3)

- Tell me about your qualifications.

BMus (Hons) in Harp at the Birmingham Conservatoire.

- How much do you charge?

£35 per hour
£17.50 per half hour
Pre pay for a block of 10 lessons and get the 10th lesson free.
A 24hour cancellation policy applys.

- Where do you teach?

I can teach from home as well as travel to students who live in Birmingham.

- When are you available?

Available to teach Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays evenings and Saturday and Sunday morning. Weekends could vary but will provide notice in advance.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

Any age group. If you are keen to learn to play an instrument I can tailor my teaching to suit any age group.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

ABRSM exams.
School level exams.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I can teach via Skype but I will require at least one face-to-face lesson each month.
