About Sarah
I’m a maths graduate from King’s College London, now working as a quantitative analyst at a major bank — so I use maths professionally every day, not just in the classroom. I’ve been tutoring for 10 years alongside my studies and career, from Year 7 through to A-level, there’s nothing better than watching a student go from “I can’t do maths” to solving problems on their own.
My approach is simple: build the foundations first. Most students who struggle aren’t bad at maths — they have gaps from earlier topics that were never properly filled. Once those are fixed, everything else gets easier.
My goal is not just to help students achieve strong results, but to help them develop a genuine understanding of the subject and the confidence to tackle problems independently.

The first lesson is free, and I use it to figure out where the gaps actually are — not just the topic you’re stuck on now, but the earlier foundations underneath it. From there I build a plan tailored to you.
Lessons are focused on genuine understanding, not memorising methods or endless past-paper drilling. We work through concepts until they actually make sense, then apply them to exam-style questions so you’re confident under pressure. I cover all major exam boards (Edexcel, AQA, OCR) at GCSE and A-level, and everything from Year 7 up.
I’m patient, but I’ll also push you — steady progress every week beats cramming. Homework is set between sessions when it helps, and I’m always reachable if you get stuck between lessons.

Sarah is a fantastic maths teacher. Enthusiastic, patient, and great with different ages and levels of learning. I would highly recommend her.
Sarah tutored my sister in Maths, and we had a fantastic experience. She was patient, encouraging, and explained topics clearly, which really helped build my sister's confidence. Thanks to Sarah's support, she achieved the grades she was aiming for and was able to move on to the next stage of her education. I'd highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a dedicated and supportive tutor.
Sarah tutored my brother for his GCSE Maths and she was fantastic throughout. She was patient, encouraging and explained difficult topics in a way that was easy to understand. She helped build his confidence as well as his maths skills and we noticed a real improvement in both his understanding and attitude towards the subject. Sarah was always reliable, professional and genuinely cared about helping him succeed. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive maths tutor.
Sarah tutored me for A-level maths. She was always calm and supportive when studying with her. She was very welcoming as well and flexible with times to tutor. I would highly recommend Sarah as she was always there whenever I needed help.
