About Pablo

I am an enthusiastic and effective teacher of Spanish (language, culture and applied Spanish for business, tourism and law). I did my master’s degree for teaching at the University of Valencia and I did specialise in “Methodology and didactics of teaching Spanish as a foreign language” at the Cervantes Institute. I have eight years of experience teaching Spanish to foreign Students, mainly I have taught to English, French and Italian speaking students (I speak those languages as well). I am a friendly, hardworking and passionate person. I enjoy helping others to achieve their goals and strive for high grades in their exams and coursework, and even most importantly: I enjoy creating the curiosity needed in the student, the only real tool, that will allow him/her to learn the language. In England, I have taught in a variety of secondary schools (GCSE and A-levels) and I am perfectly aware of the difficulties that students face when learning a foreign language. I can support the students of GCSE and A-levels: reviewing the lessons and preparing with them their assessments, but I can do much more than this: there are many different methods and approaches for learning languages, and in my opinion the best thing to do, is to follow a communicative approach: I truly believe that the best way of teaching a foreign language is to create the need of communication and to arouse students' curiosity. In order to teach Spanish for a diverse public, with different needs and goals I will prepare different programmes, for example, here you can find my programme for students and professionals who need to learn Spanish for business and commercial purposes.
