About Veronique
I am a practising artist with experience of painting, exhibiting and sharing my art for more than 25 years. I am passionate about art and creativity and naturally wish to help others to achieve their artistic goals. Having had a bad learning experience with little to no constructive feedback and tuition, I became a tutor to help others to experience positive learning and to overcome fears of creating art.

I have been a tutor for adult education for over 16 years working for various organisations, as well as independently as a practising teaching artist, running courses and workshops. I have an abundance of knowledge to share and can help students to realise their creative potential. I have experience of teaching groups of students as well as 1:1 and currently run online and in-person workshops exploring painting practice.
I have a very down-to-earth approach and I am patient and encouraging. I have helped many students start from scratch and develop their drawing and painting skills over time. My area of expertise is in painting, in particular oils, as well as possessing knowledge in the application of a large range of other media including watercolour, gouache, dry media and mixed media etc.
I can offer tailored learning for adult learners who are new to creating art or those who wish to improve and hone their skills. I hold a BA Hons. degree in Fine Art Painting and Printmaking, as well as a PGCE in Learning and Skills and my experience is in teaching adult learners of all ages. Lessons with me are typically 2 hours and involve demonstrations, Q&A, student individual practice, ongoing feedback with plenty of advice, all in a relaxed manner. My teaching style is practical and hands-on and I have a lot of knowledge to share with enthusiastic learners wishing to improve their artistic practice.
As well as being a tutor, I am a practising nature-inspired artist and illustrator and my art is in private collections around the world. I also have licensing representation and my artwork can be found on various items including greeting cards and jigsaw puzzles.
