About Hyemin melody
Hi, I’m Hyemin — a Korean native currently living in New York City, pursuing my MBA in Business Analytics at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Korea University, one of Korea’s most prestigious universities, where I was admitted through a competitive Math and Science Gifted program. My graduate research was published in an international peer-reviewed journal.
Beyond academia, I have over a decade of professional experience working across 30+ countries in international business development, including co-founding a biotech startup in Korea. I’m fluent in English and Japanese (JLPT N1), which gives me a unique perspective on language learning — I know firsthand how challenging and rewarding it can be.
Teaching Korean is something I’m genuinely passionate about. I bring both academic rigor and real-world communication skills to every lesson, making sure you learn Korean that actually works — in conversation, at work, and in life.
