About the lesson

Annyeonghaseyo! I’m Rossy, your Korean Language for Beginners Tutor—your friendly studying buddy!

Are you just starting to learn Korean? Or perhaps you already know Hangul and would like to move up to the next level? I’m here to guide you step by step so you can build a strong foundation with confidence to help continue your learning journey to a higher level!

I began my Korean studies at Seneca College in 2020 and continue to take advanced courses to complete my certification in Korean Linguistics and Teaching at the University of Toronto.

Languages I speak:
English and Tagalog (which many of my Filipino students find extra helpful!)

Student Feedback:
My students describe me as approachable, patient, and detail-oriented. But don’t just take my word for it—check out what they say about our lessons!

Since 2021, I’ve been helping beginners from Canada, the Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, the UK, and the US discover the joy of learning Korean.

My Teaching Style:
As a beginner-focused tutor, I understand how important it is to feel comfortable and supported. My lessons are clear, patient, and engaging. You’ll learn to:

+Read and write Hangul step by step

+Master essential grammar and sentence patterns

+Build practical vocabulary for everyday situations

+Start speaking Korean with confidence from day one

+I provide plenty of practice, encouragement, and real-life examples to make learning fun and easy to follow.

What makes my lessons unique?

Think of me not just as your tutor, but as your studying buddy. I’m here to encourage you, answer your questions patiently, and keep you motivated every step of the way.I would love to get to know your goals and learning style! Let's meet & greet, book your first lesson!
