About Eunna

안녕하세요 :) I am Eunna from S.Korea and I've been based in England for 9 years.

Throughout my journey, I have always been passionate about education and communication. In Korea, I taught English to primary and secondary school students at a language academy. After moving to the UK, I fully integrated into British society through diverse professional experiences—achieving Level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy qualifications, working in the hospitality sector for 2 years, and dedicating the past 7-8 years to professional care settings, where I also obtained my NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

Currently, I actively teach English to Korean speakers and Korean to foreign learners. This background allows me to deeply understand the perspectives of both English and Korean speakers, making it easier to bridge the language gap and explain complex concepts clearly.

I am a fully trained Korean tutor concluding my official Teaching Certification this August (2026). Having completed extensive training alongside years of practical teaching experience, I am incredibly excited to bring the freshest and most effective teaching methods to our lessons!

My background in the care and service sectors has naturally strengthened my patience and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I understand firsthand how challenging—yet rewarding—it is to learn a new language. That is why I tailor every lesson to your pace and goals, ensuring a supportive and comfortable environment.

Please feel free to contact me and do not worry about your current Korean level! Whether you are picking up Hangul for the first time or looking to polish your conversation skills, it will be lovely to see you in class!

About the lesson

We will start with a short chat to check your level and discuss exactly what and how you want to learn.

You will be provided with personalised learning materials via email, so there is no need to buy any textbooks! However, if there is a specific book you would like to use, I am more than happy to adapt our lessons and go through it with you.

Beginners: Learn the Korean alphabet (Hangul 한글), essential vocabulary (greetings, weather, dates, numbers), and build a solid foundation for basic everyday conversations.

Intermediate: Deepen your skills through any topic of your choice. We will expand your vocabulary and cover general, business, or travel conversations while strengthening your reading, speaking, and writing. We can also dive into Korean culture, food, K-dramas, and K-pop!
