About Jonathan
Originally from Scotland, I lived and worked in South Korea for 5 years, speaking only Korean for the majority of the time. I worked as chief translator and editor for a media translation and distribution start-up, as well as volunteering in bars, auditing university lectures, and generally immersing myself in the culture. I also have tutoring and classroom-based teaching experience.

I'm happy to teach any age of student, from absolute beginner up to upper-intermediate level. There is no typical lesson -- I adapt my content to suit individual needs. That said, grammar and parallel texts are important aspects of learning any language, so I tend to focus on those.
