If your child feels stuck, whether they’re struggling with the basics or finding exams difficult, I can help.
Often, it’s not that they can’t do it, it’s that their confidence has taken a knock and a few key foundations need revisiting.
When that happens, maths and physics can start to feel frustrating and overwhelming, even for students who are capable of much more.
Many of the students I teach either need help strengthening core topics like fractions and algebra, or support in handling more complex exam-style questions with confidence.
Lessons follow a clear structure, with a long-term plan covering everything from Year 7 foundations through to A-level exams, so progress is consistent and never feels random.
I break ideas down into simple, structured steps so students know exactly what to do. We work through examples together before building towards independent problem-solving, helping them feel more in control over time.
Sessions are calm and low-pressure, so students can engage properly with the subject, ask questions freely, and build confidence without feeling overwhelmed.
Students often find that after a few sessions, things start to click and they feel more confident approaching questions on their own.
I tailor lessons to each student and their exam board, including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, with a strong focus on building confidence and improving exam technique.
If you’d like to discuss your child’s current level and how I can help, feel free to get in touch.
