Hi! I’m Lakely Smith, and I have a deep passion for mathematics and a commitment to helping students unlock their potential in this fascinating subject. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from UCLA, I’ve spent over 8 years inspiring students of all ages to grasp and enjoy math.
My tutoring philosophy revolves around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I understand that every student has a unique learning style and pace, so I tailor my approach to meet individual needs. Whether I’m working with elementary school students mastering basic arithmetic, high school students preparing for advanced calculus, or college students tackling statistics, my goal is to build their confidence while enhancing their critical thinking skills.
In addition to one-on-one tutoring, I also offer small group classes and workshops, making learning a fun and collaborative experience. I love connecting math concepts to real-world applications, showing my students the relevance and importance of what they’re learning.
When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy hiking, solving puzzles, and volunteering in local educational programs. I am passionate about not just helping my students improve their grades but also instilling in them a lifelong love of mathematics.
