About Lalinthika

- What kind of experience do you have?

My undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and the PgCert in Education Studies have given me a strong foundation to teach Chemistry and Biology up to A' Level standard. I currently work as a college lecturer , specialising in GCSE and A'level teaching. I have a good understanding of different exam boards, including IGCSE's and IB Chemistry . Please contact me to discuss further. I have worked with students who do not have a robust academic background as well as students from top private schools .

Yes, I have a CRB.

- Where and with whom did you train?

I trained with university of Warwick and IFL. Subject to on going professional development in the area of science education.

- Tell me about some of your current students.

I have been tutoring since I was doing my own GCSE's. I have tutored students from various educational institutions including private schools , special education schools , secondary schools , primary schools and further education colleges. I took a 1 year break from private tutoring to focus on my career as a lecturer and course team leader .

I am an experienced science lecturer from a further education college . I am passionate about providing students with high quality learning opportunities , therefore I tailor my sessions to meet the needs of individual learners .

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I have completed my first degree in Biochemistry at King's College London and went on to train to study Secondary PGCE in Education Studies at University of Warwick. I have also acquired the Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills ( QTLS) in 2013. I am currently doing my MA in Education at UCL.

- How much do you charge?

I believe that high quality education should be accessible to learners from all backgrounds . Please call to discuss tuition fees arrangement to meet your individual financial needs ( discount subject to number of learners ) .

I provide assessment session to tailor learning package to students needs.
