About Kalie
It’s important to trust that your tutor is highly qualified. I have 15 years of professional teaching experience. I taught for Mpls Public Schools and also St Paul school district. During my Language Arts licensure process, I had the opportunity to tutor reading and writing to incoming college freshman who weren’t meeting the requirements in expository writing or reading retention. It was this experience that drove my love of tutoring. I enjoyed seeing the positive growth directly related to the work we were doing during our sessions. I still keep in touch with many of my students and many are thriving college graduates.

I absolutely love working with students to help them become the best writer they can be. I like to meet my students where they are and get to know them on a personal level. I find a positive student/tutor relationship makes it easier to want to learn. Studies show that when students are engaged in fun and active learning that more cognitive connections happen in the brain which is a direct to result in more effective learning! Hey school can be tough but there is no reason it doesn’t have to be too. I can help you bring your ideas to life through the art of writing and oral presentations.
